Robert is a very talented and charismatic photographer! Besides the food, my guests were most impressed by my photographer and his skills. He hopped around in knee deep snow to take the most magical pictures. Robert Ortiz is very friendly and will make anyone, even the shyest person, comfortable in front of the camera. He really has a gift! If you are ever unsatisfied, Robert will do his best to please and fix the situation because he truly cares about his clients. The entire Ortiz family makes you feel like you have known them for years including his wife Sherry who does a great job with videography. Our wedding video plus the amazing coffee table book allow us to relive the day over and over which is priceless. I would recommend Robert Ortiz Photography again and again.

Mr. Ortiz has a wonderful personality to go along with his creative and wonderful photography. He was able to capture the essence of my husband and I well and he got a few key spur of the moment shots that make me smile every time. He was very helpful to us as he worked with us when we had to move our wedding to NY because of family illness. He was so personable and everyone at the wedding commented on what a nice person he is as well as what a wonderful job he did on the photos. I am very thankful that he was able to come down to NY and photograph our wedding. I couldn't imagine anyone else sharing and capturing that amazing day w/ us.

Robert did an amazing job with my engagement and wedding pictures! He really put us both at ease and we had a lot of fun with him. He got a bunch of unique shots and poses that I've never seen before while making sure I got some of the shots I wanted. I also loved the candid shots of our wedding guests. It was fun seeing moments they had together while my husband and I were talking to our guests. He was also very accomodating with the timeframe of our event. I highly recommend him!

I will start by saying, Robert was born to be a wedding photographer. He is a ball of energy who knows how to capture the essence of special moments...as well as manage outgoing personalities. Not only that, but his eye for composition is fantastic. As a graphic designer, it was really important that I find a photographer who knew good design. It was also important that they give me the digital files and rights to reproduce the images. Robert did both of these things. As a matter of fact, I had all 1500 pictures mailed to me within 3 weeks of our wedding! He is honest, hard working and truly cares about capturing the emotions, reactions and details of your event. I can wholeheartedly recommend Robert to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer.

We had a pretty big wedding. 100 guests and most of them are from our huge Italian, Portuguese and Irish families. They're loud, and hard to keep up with. We didnt have a huge budget, but we had a lot going on. We laid it out for robert and he gave us our options. In the end we payed a really decent price and for the 4 hours we had him, ended up with nearly 700 photos. He put them in order, in high quality books. He somehow got my family members to smile and laugh at the camera instead of hiding their faces. My family loved him, he was so charming and friendly. In fact, my grandmother still mentions him 3 years later and I highly reccomend him and his work. Not a single negative aspect. Professional, friendly and most importantly great at his job.

I have not one negative thing to say about Robert Ortiz Photography. He is wonderful with everyone, polite, great with little ones, captures all the important photos, takes his time, you never feel rushed, and is above average. His pricing is also very fair. For his quality of work you would expect to pay much more. I have my wedding pictures hung in my house, and people always ask who did this work for you? Thats just how amazing Robert is! I would HIGHLY Recommend him to anyone out there that is looking for a photographer that goes above and beyond. I would have given 10 plus stars if I could have. He's the best!

Robert Ortiz is exactly the type of photographer you need at your wedding. He was fun, energetic and took magazine quality photos. Being the Bride and Groom things get very hectic and Robert made our wedding photography enjoyable. We asked for Romance, Formal and Detail photos and he was able to capture each style with great detail. Robert also has a wonderful ability to capture the mood of the event. The best advice we can give is to meet with Robert in advance so you can discuss what you want your event to be. Without reservations, Robert Ortiz comes highly recommended.

Robert Ortiz Photography was a great choice for our wedding. Robert was willing to arrive as early as we needed, he was there on time, and w/ a great attitude. He covered every aspect of our wedding beautifully from start to finish. He went above and beyond the time we expected him to stay at the end of the night(we practically had to TELL him to leave and go home, haha!).
